STATUTORY AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES
PENSIONS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1996
| In exercise of the Powers conferred by Section 28 of the Statutory and Local Authorities Pensions Act 1980, the Minister makes the following regulations : | ||
| 1. These regulations may be cited as the Statutory and Local Authorities Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January 1995. | Citation and commencement. |

| 2. The Statutory and Local Authorities Pensions Regulations 1980 are amended in regulation 3-- | Amendment of regulation 3. |
|
(a) |
in subparagraph (1)(b) by substituting for the figure "1/20 " the figure "7.5%"; and | |
(b) |
in paragraph (2) by substituting for the words "his pension may, if it would be to the advantage of the employee, be calculated on" the words "he may be granted a pension based on". | |
