270.   An instrument issued, made or given under this Act may make provisions in relation to a matter by applying, adopting or incorporating (with or without modification) provisions of any other written law that is in operation at the particular time.

271.   If there is any inconsistency or conflict between this Act and any other relevant written law, the provisions of this Act shall prevail to the extend of the inconsistency or conflict.

272.   No action or prosecution shall be brought, instituted or maintained in any court against ---- 

Protection of officers and other persons.

           (a)   the Commission or an authorized officer or any other person in 
                   respect of any act ordered or done for the purpose of carrying into 
                   effect this Act; and 

           (b)   any other person in respect of any act done or purported to be done 
                   by him under the order, direction or instruction of the Commission or 
                   an authorized officer if the act was done in good faith and in a 
                   reasonable belief that it was necessary for the purpose intended to 
                   be served by it.

PART XI

TRANSNATIONAL PROVISIONS

Chapter 1

Repeal And Savings

273.   (1)   The Telecommunications Act 1950 and the Broadcasting Act 1998 are repealed ("the repealed Acts").

           (2)   Any subsidiary legislation made under the repealed Acts shall, in so far as it is not inconsistent with this Act, remain in operation until revoked or replaced by subsidiary legislation made under this Act, and shall be deemed
